Who we are.

GoalBased Investors (GBI) is an early-stage startup in the FinTech space. GBI has built a digital platform that helps individuals quickly build meaningful financial plans for life’s important goals and easily match with an expert – financial advisors - who can help make them successful. GBI believes that financial advice shouldn’t be hard to give or to get. Our mission is to lower the barriers on both sides, creating more access to financial planning and advice and setting up more effective, efficient conversations around financial goals.

GBI just closed a seed funding round and is looking to build out our team with individuals who can help us execute on a successful launch of our platform in late spring as well as on an ambitious product roadmap and client growth strategy.

What's the position.

We're looking for someone who can help us build out and support our retail client base. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Head of Sales with all on-going sales, service and communication with clients and prospects.
  • Assist with advisor commercial strategy to establish and grow GBI’s user base of financial advisors.
  • Reach out to advisors directly via phone and email communication to proactively engage, assess and offer solutions.
  • Thoroughly learn, understand and present all solutions that are a part of the GBI platform to prospective and existing clients.
  • Assist with new client onboarding supporting clients through the process of opening new accounts with GBI.
  • Partner with client teams to help execute GBI’s Advisor Partnership Program that involves comprehensive onboarding and client success initiatives, including development and distribution of marketing, thought leadership and events.
  • Play a hands-on role in client project execution and on-going support, serving as a point person for inbound inquiries.
  • Build scalable and efficient processes to address growing volume and complexity of commercial operations.
  • Partner with the product teams and engineering to develop a strategic roadmap for the GBI product with new or enhanced functionality that responds to the most pressing client needs.

Ideal candidates will.

  • Have 2-3 years previous work experience, preferably in the financial services industry. Manager Research and/or FinTech experience a plus.
  • Clear and concise communication skills both oral and written.
  • Strong ability to communicate virtually as most interactions will occur over phone, email and video.
  • Passion for new, innovative solutions in the financial sector and eagerness to become a true product expert, mastering the ins and outs of a platform.
  • Detail-oriented executor with ability to tackle complex products and problems.
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
